A message on a bottle

There are lots of stories about people placing a message in a bottle and casting it into the ocean. Much later, just occasionally, it’s retrieved and responded to.

Here, however, we are focusing on the promotional message placed on a bottle. Yet, to an extent, these are cast into an ocean (of recipients) and a response is hoped for. Here are some tips to help…

Consider the timing

One of the key advantages of these promotional items is that they can be retained by the recipients over a long period of time, even if they are used initially to promote a short-term event, such as a public meeting or conference. Giving out branded gifts also helps people remember the event in the future. This might happen whenever they reuse the thermal bottle or sports bottle, for example. However, equally, you might wish for a branded water bottle to make a positive impression simply during the event itself.

Creating a longevity message

In this case, people are keeping the bottle for longer periods of time. So it’s vital to consider the promotional message you use. Providing a logo, web address, and telephone contact details will retain their usefulness over a substantial period, but not so much were you to use a slogan for a specific short-term campaign. Of course, such a promotion might still be of great value at the time.

Consider the inherent product message

As well as any promotional imprint, the actual product you choose can help make a subliminal statement about your business or organization, or suggest how you see the recipients! For example, our insulated bottle with a bamboo lid hints at an environmental nod. Personalized sports bottles suggest you know you are talking to active people. Vacuum bottles can present your message to people who like to take drinks with them as they go about their busy lives.

Making the most of promotional water bottles

The above points highlight how promotional bottles can present your company or organization in a positive way, helping you talk to the audience you are trying to reach. If you have any questions, contact our helpful team and we’ll happily talk you through the possibilities.
